Referring to act of eating with one's hands, Kamayan is a dinner which emphasizes the diversity Filipino tastes, typically held in October or November.
Literally meaning "together", Sama-Sama incorporates both a dinner and a Philippine culture show.
Philippine Culture Night (PCN)
A culture show that incorporates many kinds of Philippine performances, weaved together by a meaningful story. Typically held in the Spring.
A collaborative "street fair" type event with all of the other Asian organizations on campus, hosted by the Cornell Asian Pacific Islander Student Union (CAPSU). Our interactive stalls and dances have been quite successful these past few years, with our CFA-Hawaii Club Maglalatik-Porinetia collaboration winning "Best Performance" in 2011, and our station winning "Best Booth/Best Collaboration" in 2012. In 2013, our clubs took second place, and in 2014 our unprecedented triple collaboration with CFA, Hawaii Club, and the Cornell Vietnamese Association took first place.
