Memberships
To participate in CFA events, all members must submit the Value Statement form.
Membership Dues:
$15-20 for new members
$10-20 returning members
Dues are based on a sliding scale* and help fund CFA events throughout the year, including food, drinks, and our semesterly formals.
*If you’re experiencing financial hardship that makes it difficult to pay dues, please contact our Presidents for assistance!
Lins
Every fall, our Big-Little Program connects members with an Ate or Kuya, joining a Lin—a lineage of CFA members who share a family bond within the org.
Lins are tight-knit groups that grow together through dinners, study nights, movie marathons, and more.

Learn traditional Filipino dance and connect with your roots! CFA offers a variety of cultural performances showcased at events across campus.
This semester, the offered traditional dances are: Itik-Itik, Pandanggo sa Ilaw, Tinikling, and Maglalatik.

A beginner-friendly hip-hop group that highlights modern Filipino music through dance. Pick up fun choreography, move with friends, and embrace the swagapino in you 😎

2. Sinigang
14Strings! is a student organization and community group consisting of undergraduate, graduate, faculty, and Ithaca residents. As a Filipino-style Rondalla, 14Strings! plays traditional music using traditional 14-stringed pluck instruments. They perform across Cornell and the greater Ithaca community.

Founded by Kaylee Ulep and Rina Macaranas in 2024, Pancit Kanta is a singing group covering Tagalog, Original Pilipino Music (OPM), & other songs significant to Filipino culture & history.
